Not the best pics, but here's an idea what the Bolted RTs look like on a black SS. Rims are seriously nice. Very high polish for a race rim. Extremely light as well! Well worth it in my opinion. You also dont have to worry about fitment issues, spacers, rubbing the calipers, etc.

I was thinking of getting the same wheels. Are these any worse than Welds for street use?

I will give my usual response regarding using P1 rims on the street. They are very strong...BUT just as Weld recommends not using some of their prostar, and draglite drag rims on the street, we also do not recommend using ours on the street.

I am unsure where the misnomer started of Bogarts P1's being a weak wheel...but it is not true. The P1 series rim failure rate is EXTREMELY low. Against our recommendation, MOST F-body drivers seem to be using them primarily on the street without any issues whatsover.

We have had only TWO front runners bend from street use. (NEVER a rear rim). This is from EVERY single set ever sold for F-bodies. If you as an individual feel comfortable using a weld rim on the street when they recommend "For drag use only" then absolutly you should feel just as confident possibly more confident using a P1 rim on the street...even though we state the same, "for drag race use only". Due to liabilities, I cannot tell you to use them on the street.

Can you bend them, sure you can. You need to drive with respect just as you would with any drag rim.

If a rim does bend, we can take care of you, generally, we can repair them at a very small cost.
