What would be your best cam for drag racing results on 91 gas? I have the Night Fury and hate it. Car put out 431whp. Most people with bolt ons are running that. Im looking for something that pulls really hard, and sounds pissed off. Thanks!

You hate the NF cam?
That's a popular cam that ussually works well.

I would suggest our KAOTIK camshaft. It will provide you with the performance and idle that you are looking for, as well as great driveability. Most customers see 460-480rwhp on LS3's on stock heads.

Ya, I either have the wrong cam, a bad grind, or my car just didn't respond to it. When I lived in TX and had 93 octane, the car did 453whp. Moved back to AZ and had it retuned and got 431whp. Once my car warms up, it doesn't even sound like it has a cam in it. I'm going to do a 418ci build in the coming months, but want the car running a little stronger before camaro fest.

Ussually the NF cam is very noticeable.
HP numbers seems low, some dyno's read lower than others though.
Vengeance will hook you up.

Unfortunately I have not switched cams out yet. When I wrote the initial inquiry about switching cams, I had just had a differential built, and I was naive and actually thought the guys building it, were able to do just that. You would think with "driveline specialists" in the title of their shops name, they should be able to go pull off a simple diff build. That is not so. Once I find someone else that will take my money and actually successfully perform the task I asked for, then I will move back up to the engine bay, where I will then be giving you a call for my next cam! Thanks for checking in!
