Default LS7 clutch?

i had a spec clutch in my car that went out on christmas, i put a ls7 clutch and flywheel about a month ago. about a week ago i did a burn out through 1st and 2nd i went to hit 3rd and the clutch pedal was almost on the floor, i pumped it and has been fine for almost a week my car started spinning the other day so i layed into it and it was on almost on the floor again, any idea what would cause this? someone told me it might be slave cylinder?

Could be the slave if you didn't change it, it's a good idea with any clutch swap. Also, clean out the clutch fluid reservoir religiously. I clean mine out almost every time I drive the car. What kind of power are you throwing at that clutch?

only mods i have is long tubes, 3" exhaust, slp lid and short throw. at the time my clutch went in my brother did most of it as i work 6-7 days a week so i was limited on time he told me the slave cylinder and throw out bearing looked good so i didnt mess with it, i wanted to go with a tick master cylinder, im going to try what N20zuki posted and if that doesnt work i guess ill be buying a slave cylinder. i just dont want to mess up this clutch as i just installed it

You will not regret going with the Tick MC, its a great part and will probably resolve your issue. If it doesn't, at least you have removed the MC from the equation and future proofed the MC as a possible issue down the road.

I change my slave cylinder every time I change clutches and haven't had any problems with the pedal sticking.
