Default re-install or leave off side trim.

I'm having my ta completely repainted I removed and saved the side trim and ordered new TA door logos.
Car is black on black and will have tinted windows.
Poll:
Leave it all off it looks cleaner
Put it all back adds to lines of WS6

Leave it off!! Don't be a fool like me and tear your door trying to take it off either. Assuming you put it on and take it off later.

I've never liked how these cars look with deleted side trim (especially the TA/Firebirds). I would definitely put it back on.

Leave it off, hell this was one of the first things I did to my car, did it like 6 weeks after I got the car.

Does anyone have any pics of their Trans Am with side molding deleted? I think that'd help make the choice easier.

regular firebird, but here you go. There's enough of a body line in the door to not need the trim.

I've had it off on all of my other TA's but I'm kinda hung. It looks better with it off but with it all on the car has a unscrewed with look. Chances are it'll stay off.

Ok how about Trans Am door emblems no side moldings look? Thoughts ideas

Personally I like the "clean" look so it doesn't bother me, because most people (with the exception of guys on forums dedicated to these cars, like this site) wouldn't notice whether it was there or not and wouldn't know it was supposed to be there, the average person is aware of so little details on these cars that my Firebird has been called a Camaro by several different people.

what I'm still up in the air on is whether to keep the lettering on the door, know that I think about it this car is not unlike a Verizon cell phone with the Logo stamped all over it.

88-98 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra (and the Tahoe, Yukons and Suburbans of that generation) they look awkward without there side molding.

but, yeah. Walk on to ANY new car lot these days and see how few new cars come from the factory with a side molding trim, it's quickly going away.

Quick Reply: re-install or leave off side trim.
