Default Looking for a turbo

I'm wanting to build a turbo kit for my silverado. It's a 2005 ext cab and has the l33 5.3 engine. I need some help figuring out what a good turbo would be for a decent price and what size I should go with??

A TC78 or a Borg Warner s475 is probably going to be your most cost effective turbos. Depends on your power goals!

You gave absolutely zero information on goals, purpose, budget, concerns... etc.

Try looking over at the performancetrucks board (link at the very top of the page). There are a ton of turbo trucks over there.

500whp is a modest goal. Can be done with an eBay turbo on a stock motor.
