Default SLP loudmouth 1 with LT or Manifolds?

Should I do a Pacesetter LT+Catted Y pipe+SLP LM1?

OR

Should I do a Catted Y pipe+SLP LM1?

IYO which sounds better? I've heard mixed reviews about both setups and I have the whole exhaust Lontubes to LM1 waiting to be installed.

For best sound, leave the stock manifolds and Y Pipe with the LM1. I ran this system for 5 years, sounds great. If you put LT's and a Y in front of it the sound will be shitty.

Going to be raspy with the LTs but since you're going catted y, should be tolerable. Go with the LT's.

If you want more power go with longtubes with a quiet cat-back exhaust if you dont want it too loud. If you just car about a good exhaust note manifolds, cats, lm1 sounds really good.

I'm sorry I meant cat less y I just looked in it a little while ago its completely empty. Will those piped with a Borla XR1 or some other type of muffler sound better?

Honestly I can cut the SLP resonator out and install a different muffler I just wanted to open up the exhaust and shave the old cast iron manifolds off to cut weight as well.

How would this sound with the CATLESS Y pipe stock manifolds and Cat back?

Have the pacesetter lt, high flow cats and lm1. Not sure why people think it sounds bad. Mine sounds great and I get compliments all the time from car guys that don't read forums and have pre determined thoughts as to what sounds good. To each their own.
It is a little loud with my stahl in stop and go traffic.
It is your car so do what makes you happy.

Its pretty tame on stock manifolds. I really didnt think it was that loud until the cam went in.
