Default Aftermarket headlights not fitting (UPDATE)

Has anyone had problems with their ebay dual halo headlights not fitting? I tried to install mine last night and the top of the fender over hangs about 1/2". I will get pics tonight, but I wanted to make sure this isn't common.

I have a similar issue but it is to be expected with ebay products at a fraction of the price of OEM units.

I agree to a point. But the research I did on here, people were saying they fit great. And these don't even follow the contour or the fender. They look horrible. I will get pics tonight.

I know this is probably a stupid suggestion to point out, but were you able to get the ball and socket joint to snap in properly? I know that mine were quite a pain in the *** trying to get those two to seat properly.

Ya. They both snapped in fine. But it fit better when I took this plastic pieces out for more adjustment.
Nik and tmonttt, do you remember the sellers name you got yours from? I'm gonna try to get my money back.

I purchased mine from a vendor "Ada", here's a link to his store; http://www.ebay.com/usr/ada?_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2754

He still has them for sale in his store as well.

You have to press the headlight up and into the fender while you screw the bolts in. It'll never sit as perfectly as OEM, but you can get it to the point where only you will know.

I got them a little better adjust today. But the edges stick out bad. Do yours look this bad?

Its cold as hell today and I wasn't gonna spend to much time. But maybe adjust the fender in? I didn't even look to see if I could

No fender adjustments required. The only thing you'll ever notice is that the upper edge of the headlights is angled slightly down.

If they looked like yours, I will be happy. Did you have to enlarge the mounting holes in your lights for more adjustment?

I just bought some dual ccfl halo' sand installed them last month. I think I bought them on ebay from eagle motorsports. Mine don't fit what I would call "perfectly" either, but I got them close enough to not bother me. Inadequate a problem getting the tops to line up with the fender like your first picture, but the sides of mine fit really well. Here are a few pics of mine. Hope it helps.

Not stupid at all, mine were hard to get to seat as well. SO bad, that I grabbed the stockers and tried the. They popped in fine.

These are poor quality and fit nowhere NEAR the factory.

As soon as I have time, I am pulling these off and replacing the them with the factory ones after I reclear them and add all new DDM stuff.

The Halos barely lit up as well, but that was not a real big deal, just a little disappointed.

Nik, this is just general feedback and in no way reflects on you at all!!!!!

You had my back and did me a favor and I got you!!!!!!

Well after a few hours of trying to get these things to fit, I'm happy. I also added 5000k 35w lows and fogs along with 6000k 55w highs. Here are a few pics with them installed along with my home made fogs.[/URL[/URL[/URL
