CTS-V Blacked out Turn Signal
Hey Guys,
One of my friends just bought a silver 2004 CTS-V. From a cosmetic standpoint, the large orange turning signals and side markers got to go. anyone got pics or suggestions of what they did to resolve this? Any pictures of a really good looking silver CTS?

I used to use night shades for a while, but then kept having problems with it. So I just switched to a different brand spray tint is all. Not sure who makes it I just got it from autozone. i like it better than night shades too. VHT night shades seems to leave a purply tint to it and this new stuff does not.

Thanks!
I sanded, then wet-sanded, then cleaned with alcohol, and did 4 coats of Rustoleum's tint spray I got at Home Depot, then wet-sanded again once it was dry, then cleared and wetsanded once more.

Nightshade dulls and has a matte looking finish after awhile. The proper way to tint your lights IMO is to mix black with clear. Obviously you wouldn't need much black mixed with the clear. You just keep spraying layers on until you get the darkness you want. Usually 2-3 layers is nice and dark. Going this route doesn't really sacrifice much lighting either. It looks darn good.
