Default Pro Star skinnies

I'm going to be looking at buying a set of weld racing's pro stars to replace my stock chrome wheels on my 98 camaro very soon. I just wanted to know everyones opinion on how they think the 16 inch rear wheels would look with the Pro Stars up front. Maybe I could have a pic photoshopped by someone? And also, what size would be best and where can I get the spacer to make the wheels fit properly. thanx.

My buddy Jeremy just put Pro-Star runners on the front of his 02 NBM Z28 and they look awesome. The car looks much more aggressive now.

Call Weld to get the correct sizing/spacer you need. I'm not sure if anything they make will be a perfect fit, though. You might have to grind down your caliper a bit to get the wheels to fit.

15x3.5 with a 5/16" spacer = no grinding.

I think that 16 on the back looks funky. Plus, why not run a 15 and take advantage of the extra sidewall (hook) of a 15" tire?

I want to keep the stock 16's in the back because of price and less tire wear because I dont know of any street tires to fir a 15 inch rim.

Last time I checked, Pro-Star 15's were cheaper than 16's. I don't know what you mean when you say you can't find a 15" street tire?? Almost everybody makes 15" tires, and BFG and Nitto make DR's for a 15 too.

Last time I checked, you can't get any cheaper than not having to buy a new set of 16's and just keeping the stock rims.

a98ws6 - do you want to trade your 2 17x11's for my 17x9.5 TT2's and some cash? I have 9.5 all the way around I want some 11's so bad for the rear, so what do ya say?

It is my delivery vehicle on weekdays and racecar on weekends. It gets over 20 mpg on my drive to and from the track[300 miles] and it has 2750 1/4 mile passes on it.

Sponsors love the fact that it is seen everyday on the street and not just one day a week at the track!!

It is also a great attention getter for my store!!

P.S.// Also tax deductible!!
