provide it with (2) fused wires. and 2 non fused wires
-COnstant hot 12v
-ACC 12v (when the key is on)
-Ground
- signal to a fuel pump relay (if you want the ecu to turn the fuel pump on)

the harness has many lengths to choose from when it comes to measuring it. this one was mounted under the dashboard. if you locate a hole in the firewall behind the passenger side cylinder head you could mount it in the cabin. it is waterproof. so you can mount it in the engine bay if you keep the wires away from the headers.
a reply in an earlier PM. the pcm is not included.

all you need to do is provide the constant hot, hot acc(triggered by key), ground, and run a relay for the fuel pump. 4 wires all marked. the harness has all the other provisions for factory coils, sensors, yada yada yada.

email reply: It does look kinda messed up but it does work the price reflects this. This powered flyin miata's targa newfoundland rally car. It had a 5.3 engine. All the plugins are there. everything you mentioned is there except for the oil pressure. the ecu doesn't have a oil pressure signal. The only thing you might have trouble is with is the throttle. if you have a 24 tooth crank signal (90% of 5.3's have the 24 tooth) then you can't use a factory ecu for drive by wire. the 350z chassis has a drive by wire from the factory. your only hope is to add in a cable operated throttle pedal (then this harness is what you need). or upgrade the motor (replace the crankshaft) with a 58 tooth reluctor. and run the newer PCM that comes on late model ls2, ls3.
short answer. this is the right harness for your engine.
this is the wrong harness for your chassis. One or the other will need to be modified.
Hello,
I have an L33 5.3 and t56 in a 350z and would like to know if this wiring harness will work with my engine? also the harness looks quite short in the pictures and a bit mangled near the pcm plug in. Are all of the wires in tact? non are broken? and are all of the plug in's there? injectors, MAF, throttle position sensor, knock, oil pressure, ect.
Thank you,
