Arrow Videos and Pics from Texas Invitational

Here are a couple videos of my runs at TI, over the weekend. My highest trap speed was 169 mph, and the car ran very consistent all weekend. The reality is that 1200-1300 hp only gets you into the bottom 1/3 of the cars there. Pretty crazy, when this level of power was near the top about 3-4 yrs ago.

Just for a point of reference, we figure at least 1000 whp to crest 160 mph. Need around 1200 whp to crest 170 mph. 1400 to do 180 mph, and so on. Just for ballpark figures.

Good times! Looking forward to the next event. Hopefully with a few major changes to my car

Default Nice Videos

This is what I was referring to when I spoke of comparable cars in my past posts. Most of these vids were apples to apples and it looks like you did pretty damn good. Congratulations

Your car is running great as always Tony!

Power level estimate is spot on as I did back to back 170mph runs on 18-19psi which is about 1100ish for me (auto). Wish I had time to do another hit with the boost issue sorted out. Oh well, always next time!

Thanks.

Forged rods/pistons
Paxton Novi2000 supercharger @ 12.5 psi (900-950 rwhp on boost)
Nitrous Outlet dual-fogger wet kit @ 200 shot (0.052 N2O jets)
A lot of seat time and dialing the car in.

Yeah I figured about the same as you on trap speeds. I trapped 151 on that pass with you as it was a test pass.We talked about it etc... Best MPH for the weekend was 173.74. 170 was pretty consistent. I was hoping to get you or Elliot in the 6spd challenge. But got Joel's Viper.

What do you pick up rwhp wise on the 200 shot? It seems like everybody is putting nitrous on their car with boost now days, maybe that's just me haha.

Good job tony, you built a solid and very consistent all around car!!

It's funny seeing people on this site talking about roll racing now.. Where all the ignorant ***** that used to think roll racing is gay?? Where are all the people that used to think drag racing a IRS car is dumb? It was fun talking **** with them back in the days..lol

And the nitrous on top of boost thing?? Us import guys have been doing that since the mid 90's..

And btw..my little ricer did 175mph, it still had another 15 lbs of boost and a 225 shot togo...I just didn't feel comfortable running it with the extra power because the car wasn't stopping very well...chute didn't worked..

Carry on....lol
