I have a 90mm intake I purchased without bolts and am ready to install it and planned on installing on 04/26/14 but of course the bolt kit from FAST (54038C) is back ordered until May everywhere. So my question is:

Does anyone know the sizes of bolts or does anyone have an intake sitting around that wouldn't mind measuring some bolts for me so I can go to home depot or something and buy them? I also wouldn't mind buying the bolts from someone if by chance they had them laying around. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Which bolts are you referring to? The only ones you should need are the valley cover bolts. You can reuse the stock intake bolts for bolting the intake to the engine.

Unless you are talking about the internal bolts and screws which hold the shell, runners, base together. Those are going to be harder to track down.

The valley cover bolts are M8 x 30mm. They are button head cap screws aka button heat allen screws. If you can, I recommend stainless because they are under the intake where water can get can cause rusting. A very small amount of anti seize on them would be a good idea as well.

I went and bought new bolts for mine to bolt the shell and base together as well as the throttle body. IIRC, they use a nut and bolt, so the thread doesn't matter as long as the nut fits the opening in the base. I'll take a look and see what I used later today when I get back home.

I actually need every bolt for the entire intake. It is good to know I can re use the stock intake to head bolts at least but I do also need the ones that hold the shell together. If it's just a simple nut and bolt that would be great though. Thanks for the info so far guys

They are nuts and bolts for most of it, but I seem to remember some of them being phillips head cap screws. I just took the intake with me to a large hardware store as I had taken mine apart at college and went home to install it and forgot all the bolts/screws....

You will more than likely need to visit a bolt/screw store, I doubt Lowes or Home Depot will have everything you need.

Ah not a problem, but if for some reason anyone has the whole kit or if your dad or you find yours I would pay up to $60 for them shipped to me by 04/25/14 hahaha

As mentioned, just take the intake to the store with you and start matching them up.

You get a lot of odd looks and some cool conversations when you've got a FAST intake manifold in your basket at Lowe's

Here's what I got:

6ea M6 x 20mm
3ea M6 x 40mm
9ea M6 washers and nuts

I got all that in stainless socket head rather than hex head, and it cost about $18 at a local hardware store. I still need the longer manifold bolts that thread into the cylinder head as these only bolt the shell to the base and the throttle body to the flange. With the manifold painted black, I think the stainless will stand out nicely.
