95 z28 m6 gear swap from 273 to 373
Hello I am going to do a gear swap for on my 1995 camaro from 273 to 373 I am just wanting to know what's the best brand to get and also what website to order from i will also need a install kit and just need help figuring out where to order from summit , jegs ...etc

GM Motives have the best reputation. If you are going to do this yourself then check out the sponsors to see if they have anything you can use. If you are going to have a shop do it, by all means, let them order the gears and rebuild kit. That way if something goes wrong they cannot simply say "well it's the gears you ordered and you're screwed..."

Dont forget you will have to have a retune. That big of a gear change. Will throw off your wot shift points. If I was you I would try find complete rear out of a 6 speed car. Its 3.42 gear and Is a great all round gear. Plus there factory gears and stronger. You van usally pick em up for round $250.

I've got 3.73's with an M6, also a conversion car. Parking lots suck at lower speeds, but I like them. They are completely silent, and I'm not exactly nice to them. I went with Motive gears and a Ratech full rebuild kit, both from Summit. Just make sure when you get your rebuild kit that you've got some good USA or Japan-made bearings, not cheap Chinese crap.
