Default H/C/I Ws6 vs Cam only Ls2 C6

I own the Ws6 and have the following mods:

Torquer V2 Cam
A.I. 243 heads
FAST 92/92
Full Exhaust
3.90 gears
Drag Radials
455whp 413wtq

My friend/Tuner owns the C6 with the following mods:

C6 Ls2
Tick Performance Polluter V2 cam
Full Exhaust
Stock intake
3.42 gears
Street tires
450whp 401wtq

Both cars had 1 passenger filming in each car. This run was done at 45MPH in second gear. The owner of the C6 tuned both cars on the same dyno and we finally got around to testing out our cars. Runs were very close with him coming on hard at the very end... Some 4.10 gears and he would take me out!

Good run dude!

Your tuner needs to get rid of the stock ls2 intake if he has those mods already lol

Yes and he also has the stock air box

His car is definitely needing a bit more intake air flow... But proud of how my car ran being that my cam is much smaller than his!

I think you did great considering you both make the same power, but with a 200-300 lb weight difference

Thanks! I knew the weight was a big factor going into the run but was quite surprised I was able to hold him off... But once he gets some gears.... Should be a crap shoot!

For a few hundred bucks slap on a really basic used nitrous kit and hit with a 75 shot, and surprise the hell out him lol

I actually have a Dynotune nitrous kit on my car. I put up a video of us testing it out now too long ago on this section. He tuned the nitrous on the car, so wont be too much of a "surprise" if I open the bottle lol

I bet there is 20-25rwhp in his car with a Halltech.

Also looks like he is shifting at 6500rpm. Tell him to wind that thing up to 7000!

Great runs!

Thanks Martin!

I actually pushed him to run your polluter cam when he was on the fence of which cam to go with...(Wish I went that route) And yes, he really needs to open up that intake!

Oh yeah, I guess that surprise factor won't work then lol. 4.10's in a basic HCI LS1 6-speed are the perfect performance gear IMO. Had your ran the stock gears I think it would've been a bit different

Nice runs, bad *** to see you out front like that. Car sounded good as well. I think 4.10's would be too steep for him, maybe some 3.90's.

Once he grabs a CAI and a FAST intake I'd like to see a rematch.

Thanks! Yeah I powershift the **** out of the car thanks to the Tick Master and also a level 2 T56 rebuild... Have had no issues since rebuild.

I kind of was expecting it too lol. I know I have more mods than him, but being that we make similar power I was quite surprised...

And yes, he will be getting a CAI very soon along with a retune and we will see how we match up!
