NOS Increase?
Heres the combo:
2002 Camaro Z/28, LS6 stock bottom end, Patriot Stg 3 heads, Comp cam 228/228 571/571 112, 150 shot single nozzle 57/32 jets,TR6 plugs, Tuned by Speed inc prior to me owning. TH400 Transbrake, Revmanvb, Abruzzi 10" conv. only flash 3000, PST Mild DS, 9" 4:33 gears, Midwest chassis short torque arm, 295-55 Drag radial. The car seems slow. NOS act. is off WOT switch. foot brake 7.20@101 1.68 60ft. Trans brake its .05 slower. Its a full weight street car with everything intact right down to the cold a/c. The car is not spinning off the line.
The car was dyno tuned at Speed Inc. It has 500 hp and close to 500 Tq at rear wheels.
So down to the question, Can I go up to a 175 or 200 shot? What mods would also need to be done to support the increase? Or is there something else you guys might see that would be more beneficial?

An .063 jet is 150. You only have about a 125 pill in it now. I think you need more converter or more spray. Your losing everything in the 60. That's why I said I think you need more converter. What can you foot brake to? Bigger fuel pump, more nitrous, and then decide what to do with the converter. That's also a lot of rear tire for the times.

The convertor was ordered at 3800-4000 but it will only flash 3000 on Tbrake. Ive called Marco but he's been busy and hasnt gotten back to me yet about a re-stall. Yes I am spraying off the line. Footbrake leaves better that Tbrake. I havent done any suspension work other than removing front end links on the sway bar. Also the track is unpreped on test and tune night, so it is crap. Hoping to try another track this weekend.

even with a vert only stalling 3k,with the bottom end tq on spray 1.5x 60' should be no problem with traction. i knew a guy that had a full weight, lid and tune only car with a 3k stall spraying 150 and had 1.6x 60'. went to the stock stall and had 1.6x 60'. with those mods and traction,i see it going high 6-9's or 7.0s or so . just my .02 $

Went to another track last night for test and tune. It was preped. Managed to get a 7.02 @99 mph with 1.57 off foot brake. Pulled the convertor out this morning to get it stalled correctly.

Update: Since last post Ive sent the convertor back got it re-stalled at 4200, added QA1 single adjustable coil overs on the front and MSD 2 step. I have the 2-step set at 3000 and leaving off the tbrake and 100 shot all. Best so far is .14999 60 ft and 7.03 @97 mph with about wheels in the air about 1'.
The car is not spinning at all should I increase the launch rpm and/or put the QA1 coil overs on the rear for better results. Also I will be changing to a plate system on the NOS.
