Default next level air and fuel upgrades for my nova

so because it is never enough, and when i got this car and put the current combo together i wanted a low 10 second street car and possibly 9 second street car.. well the first pass went 9.55 at 147.8..
so now it seems i found the fuel system limits and now I am on a quest for 8.99..
went from a1000 to a 11102(they say good for 1600hp)
going from single needle and seat to dual needle and seat bowls.
went from standard 475 wheel to billet 6 blade, cut back with integral nut(30 grams lighter)
getting a water to air by tuesday..
hopefully i can get all this in by weds and see what the results are..
also changed the 4 link positions to hopefully help out my 60'..
we will see...

went 9.82@138(6:06pm),9.75@138(6:36pm), 9.82@ 139(7:02pm) for the 3 runs withing the hour from driving out there... intercooler works.. dropped from the previous 10.02@137, 10.06@137 and the best of 9.86 at 137 after 2 hours and in the cool before..

Very cool! Pun intended.
:-)
How much weight did this add?

So, what do you think made the most difference? The shiny spinny thing or the new IC?

LOL cool huh..
I would say I added at least 100lbs.. Ill go wiegh it tomorro just so we know..
I would also say that the intercooler made the most differece. I hadnt been there 15 minutes from driving and ran the 9.82.. that same cynerio went 10.02 before..Also I drove it around for the last week or so with the billet wheel in and it wasnt any noticeable difference other than being quieter..
I just got the car going today with the intercooler and i basically had to jet it up to keep it from going lean on me.. I went up from a 77 to a 78 primary and from a 81 to 86 secondary jets.. It was still a tad lean I think at around 11.2 to 1 gas scale.. I would like it to be 11-1.. I need to figure out the dual needle and seat bowls now.. I was half way out and brought it back and changed back to the original bowls..

I to be fair the mph is where im guaging hp gained.. went 2mph faster.. I also did adjust the 4 link and was able to leave on the 2 step for a 1.47 sixty on the 9.75 run..

Good progress. Esp for the first time out with the new stuff. It will only go faster.
The IC of course will help when you turn the boost back up. After you get the new bowls figured out.

My bud runs those on his turbo 496. They work good enough that he managed a paltry 1250 to the wheels.......

thanks Ron.. I am thinking Im going in the right direction with things..
I think that the ic should help more under the high boost.. I am going to change the 4 link for this week and just go see how it does now with the bowls now that I think i have them right..
