Default Cam only ls1 vs Bolt on/geared/tuned 5.0
My car vs my friends 2013 5.0. I have no idea how I pulled him, but we did 2 runs . Here's his mods :

Steeda cai

Boss intake

Long tubes

Xpipe

Axle back

3.73 gears

Mt et streets

Tune

seems about right to me. Figure a stalled cammed ls1 car should run mid 11's at the track, that 5.0 I'd guess would run upper 11's. good race op!

shouldnt be any excuses. a correctly cammed LS1 is dead nuts or slightly better than a bolt on coyote.

mustang needs cobra jet intake/ monoblade, DS, etc and it might be closer. BOSS intake is yesterdays mod. really useless except to extend rpm band a little and lose torque. its for road courses.

I agree i road in a few boss cars. Really didn't pull all that great untill 7k rpm plus. Thats why i went with the CJ plan on doing cams
