Default Cylinder head id

I have a pullout LS1 from a 04 GTO (so I was told). I checked the heads and either I'm having a moment or the casting numbers are ground off. Is this normal or am I looking in the wrong place? Can I id them from the longer number below?

Do you have pics of the exhaust ports?

I'm going to guess they are 241's then. I'm not sure why they would go through the trouble to do that if they are 241's though.

That's what I thought. I can't think of a good reason to shave the numbers off other than to hide switching in heads that were worse than 241s

Or maybe an indication somebody did some work to the stockers but it sounds like there's no easy way to figure that out. I'll think that way to make myself happy. Thanks for the replies.
