Advice needed on replacing pass side wires and plugs on 94 LT1
Was wondering how you guys replaced the spark plug wires and plugs on pass side LT1. It's a 94 formula firehawk with factory manifolds. Remove pass side motor mount bolt and jack engine or pull accessory bracket? I already have alt off and pwr steering pump loose. Thanks

I did mine from the top. Just take your time and go slow. Also one at a time. I would go back to front because the one closest to the front of the car sucks like 8 bitches on a bitch boat... The hardest part for me was getting them in the stock routing. Will all those PITA retainers, clips and what not. Good luck!

I fully realize that these cars are getting pretty old, now, so rust is an issue, even for cars that weren't driven through the winters. Having said that, the two times I changed the plugs on my '96 Z, I dropped the "Y" pipe, which took about 20 minutes (no rust issues), then changing the plugs, except for #2, was a breeze. #2 is a PITA, because of the A/C lines that surround it.

On my 94 Z28, with LT's i went from under the car i had to remove the alternator to get at the last plug. Other than that it wasn't to bad, my car is a US rust free car that is always garage stored, so i had no problems there.

Honestly going from top or bottom, whichever suits you best. Spark plug socket and correct size wrench and I never have many issues with them. But I have had a few get me in the mood to throw plugs out the window...
