Question Polished/chrome Trans Am Door emblem/overlay question

Any of you know where to get something similiar to this besides at MBA products????

It just seems like an incredibly expensive piece...$136.00.. PLUS $63.00 if you want it polished instead of brushed.. PLUS shipping...or maybe Im just cheap and overreacting... who knows.

Perhaps, it is so much from them because they are the only ones with it for now...

Thanks!

Part of the reason its so expensive is because they have to pay GM for licensing. GM's got to get thier piece of every fricking little thing too right? I guess its not enough to buy the whole car from them.

If you think about it why is everything for our cars so expensive? Specialty equipment is such a bullshit market because nobody really needs all this crap

Well that may be part of it... but the same piece for the rear Pontiac inlay (which I guess would have to be liscenced as well) is only $79 dollars... Afterthoughtsauto another sponsor sells one of those too for around the same price... (74 shipped or so).

I just have a feeling that Im being bent over slightly on these door emblems lol.... I see a need for competition on these trans am overlays lol.

So, are you implying that the Chromes peel off easier than the Silvers?

No, what i am saying is that overlays peel off... I ordered the whole emblem in silver... EX. if i had a silver Trans Am they would have came on it.. SO i got the part # for the Silver trans Am writing, and ordered a set.... THe whole thing is silver, it isnt an overlay.

dduncan,

Have you tried talking to our dealers? They sell our parts less at less than list prices.

So if you purchase just the silver overlay you can clear cut it to make it not peel?
