Changing Interior Light Bulbs
I've tried the search feature, but haven't come across it. There was a thread about changing the light bulbs behind the gauge cluster, and I think there was a link to a write up, complete with pictures and arrows of where the screws were. Anyone know that link?
I'm thinking of just changing the lights, instead of getting a Macewen Gauge Overlay since I still haven't heard from them.

I posted plenty of links here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/174029-blue-led-dash.html
I dont remember if any of them had detailed write-ups, but they basically say where to get the LEDs and how to install them.
Here are the instructions for McEwen's gauge overlay:
http://macewenmotorsports.com/infor19fi19c.html
They say how to remove the guage cluster.
Here are some posts on trim removal:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=gauge+overlay
I found a write-up here:
http://www.ebbsnflows.cz28.com/photo2.html
It was in this thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=gauge+overlay
NOTE:
If you do decide to replace the gauge face, use a kit that does not require needle removale. Its just a PITA and you can cause calibration and functional problems.

Macewen isn't the only one that doesn't require needle removable. I dont remeber the names of the others. Do a search on here or check out the sponsors.

Here is why:
* You can damage the needles or the bases
* The calibration will be off
* You may not attach them properly (which will cause improper functioning)
* One or more guages may stop working altogeter
If you did choose this route and dont have any problems, then you got lucky. There have been too many issues reported here for it to be worth the hassle. Do a search and you'll see various posts with the issues I mentioned above.

www.dynoproauto.com has some good overlays. I got them a year ago and they still look great! Come with the TA bezel and requires no removal of needles.

I know its possible, but I pulled mine of my last car and didn't have any problem. As long as your careful and use a little common sense, should have any problems

My point is that its too easy to mess up. There are kits that do not require needle removable. They are easier and faster to apply. If you dont have any problems, then you were meticulous and got lucky.
