Default Just Curious, has anybody "viewed" Hypertech changes with LS1Edit or other?

Just as the title says...is it possible, and has anybody seen what it is that they change?

Its possible with LS1 edit. Just do a before and after read of the PCM. Then look at all the differences in the tables. I wasn't impressed when I looked at it years ago, don't remember the differences anymore.

I'd love to get my hands on the tranny tables on a 98 f-body after an hpp3 install. I'd like to see what hpp3 did to the tranny at 50% and 75%. Wish I would've held on to mine long enough to install it and do a read and save it.

I did one. When I first got my car I had an HPP3 to adjust for the rearend and fans. Later when I got LS1Edit I installed the entire HPP3 tune (the "performance" BS tune) and downloaded it with LS1Edit. Then sold the HPP3 to someone else and had the HPP3 on hand to see what they were actually doing. It was basically:

- pull fuel (leaner = more HP)
- add advance

I didn't use it (was not a good tune even for stock....wouldn't work well with my cam ) and have over time lost it (reboots/new computers/lost CDs/etc)....

Interesting stuff. If anyone else has anything to add I'd like to see it. Thanks for the responses!
