Default Need opinions on wheels.

Time for the smurf to get new wheels, I was thinking FM5's but some tell me that too many people have them. So any ideas on what other rims are out there either at or lower in price.

I'd say the ones you got are pretty unique. I repect the desire for change since I am on my 3rd set of wheels on my SS in 3 years. FM5's although awesome wheels are becoming very popular. For change go for it, but for uniqueness, you need to look further.

Intro, makes some pretty cool wheels as well as CCW.

One of the things I dont want in a set of wheels are the bolts on the outside, that just turns me away from the wheel all together, and makes it harder for me to find one.

same here, I don't like the rivets/bolts around the outside of a wheel. I went with the CCW 505A's

www.ccwheel.com I'd post a pic of my car with the wheels on it, but my webserver is down. .

How about one of the Budnik styles:

They are nice.. can be made in a "fat lip" look and are reasonably priced ($1800 for a set of 18's)...

The ones above are the unidirectional Gasser D's..

Im looking for a 17x9+ front wheel and an 17x10+ rear wheel. That has no outward facing bolts that have a lip that comes out either flush or a just a small amount past the fender. So far I can only find that in Fikse.

I just dont like them..... plus the wheel look slike a damn 15 inch wheel......... I love true face wheels... no stepping out lips like Fikse has..... it makes the wheel look smaller.... BTW you can get iForged wheels with out rivits... the rivits are $35 extar per wheel.

Thats what im really wanting to get, but it would be after a rear end. The profil version of the Fikse wheels have a true face on them. Your just used to seeing people with the regular ones.

I like what you. got I have them on my 89 GTA and woiuld love them on my 95 FOrmula.

But the wheel Im really trying to get for my 95 is the Corvette C5 Magnesium wheels. not the fat spokes, not the z06s and not the Y2k....but those goldish colour ones. I would paint or polish them (coz the colour would clash with my car) but I love the style. saw them on a couple 4th gens before and they look awesome
