1998 F-Body fan questions
Anyone familiar with the fan connector, ie. the breakdown of the pinouts? I put a standalone computer on my car (FAST bank/bank) and need to wire up the fans.

I can get you the Helm book info for a 2002,
though I'm not 100% certain it's identical on
a '98, if that'll help. There are two fans, a low
and high speed mode (but I don't know offhand
if this is windings, or parallel / serial relay
connection etc.

I believe the fans are the same throughout the obdi and obdii year fbodys (As far as series, parallel turnon goes). I have a link to a wiring diagram that might could help you out. Its not pcm pinouts but it does give you access to turning on the fans (both high and low). Let me know what ya find out...

Im not sure where you splicing into the fan connectors, are you using the factory relay boxes? I would if you still have them. The easiest place to tap into them is On the passenger fender there are 3 metripack connectors, C100 C101 and C105, you want to deal with the C100 10 pin black connector.
pin H is the high speed fan and pin J is the low speed one.
I can get you the mating connectors if you need them. for connector C100 simply remove the connector from the pcm side of the harness and splice in there. You need a ground signal to activate the relays.
c100 10pin black
a-pnk-pwr from fuse 9
b-grn/wht-a/c comp relay control
c-dk grn-a/c comp clutch solinoid feed
d-(europe)-gry-ref voltage feed, 5 volt
e-(europe)-dk blu-tps signal
f- not used
g-pnk-pwr from ign fuse
h-dk blu-coolant fan relay control
j-dk grn-coolant fan relay control
k-(europe)-blk-sensor return
just send me an e-mail if you want the connector/pins, i've got lots of them, and will be glad to help you out.
all 1993-2002 use the same pin H and J for the fans (except 1993 single speed fan, they just use 1 pin)
