Question AMS cams

230/227, .593/.594 117lsa

How much power are you making with this cam and what are your mods??

thats basically my cam a Lunati Mti sold X1 cam, but I have a 112 LSA cam alone on a A4 I am at 400rwhp

I tried to find info on that AMS cam and nobody seemed to have it, i emailed AMS and they havent returned it (been like 3 months) i like the look of it but i was kinda worried about having to take it to like 7k with the 117 lsa. TTT for ya

This one was designed with cam only in mind. 117 would make it idle like stock.
Power range 3000-6500. So 7Ks won't benefit. Reverse split for the smaller stock head intakes.
This could be a really good cam with 205 AFR 66cc. (Very Stealthy) yet with 430rwhp capability IMO.

I had fms clean up my heads put bigger vlaves fms cam dynoned the car with stock intake . month later bolted up ls6 intake made 25 rwhp and 22 ft lbs torque just with an intake . i think best for the buck . my 2 cents

It looks similar to MTI X1 230/227, .591/.571 112lsa (AMS> 230/227, .593/.594 117lsa)
BTW does MTI use LUNATI cores?

Both sponsors are in TX

Cam has an almost stock idle, yet makes really good power on the topend. Its geared more towards a sleeper car with a nitrous setup. It lacks in the midrange where our other motor grind work, but for bottle... Works really good with smaller dry shots for a super stealthy setup! It will make an easy 400 rwhp cam only, just more topend/less midrange.

When you say midrange you mean 3000>4500?? or else??

And "small shot of N2O dry" that means 100>150 ??
