Tony: I'm going off 1/8th mile times. My next goal is 6.93 in the 1/8th to pass Scott again. Maybe a powder coated throttle body would help? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

It's my ONLY mod and I'm running 10's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> I plan on a 6.7 1/8th before long. You better hurry it up. I'll tell ya, it's weird when those front tires come off the ground and you hear that LOUD "CLUNK". My buddy told me the left front came off the ground about 4" on my 1.4X 60's. I STILL haven't gotten it on video yet. Sure will make a cool pic on the webpage. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Oh, and I think my current heads/cam package will run high 10.6's in my car too! LOL.
I don't know what's wrong with Famoso lately, that track used to hook well. Come up to sac it's only about 5-5.5hrs from you. About the same distance from where I'm at.

No 10s but new best anyway
Track prep was poor at Famoso, and DA was 1700'. I got three passes, the best of which was 11.167@121.37 (unlocked) 1.609 60' (7.114@96.76 1/8th).
If only I could have hooked like I was at Irwindale (1.51 60') I would have been really close to a 10. I am really happy with the Meziere water pump, I put an order in for my own. I'll probably also pull the AC and maybe add light weight carpet now. Another 70# and I'll be there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: No 10s but new best anyway
Congrat's! Doesn't that make you quicker than JS officially according to JS's standards? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Boy the budget MMS heads are wreaking havoc on the high dollar LS6 heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
You should best that time at Carlsbad for sure. Good luck!
The ELITE WEST is on the RISE! When's Derek going to be out & about representing??

Derek will be ready in about two weeks. He's taking his time right now.
