Today at the track, I had problems with the line lock holding the car. The car would squirm sideways before holding the tires, and once didn't hold at all resulting in no burnout (wouldn't you figure that was the qualifying run for quick 8.....luckily I still qualified after spinning through 1st)

Thanks to a tip from Fireball, the key is to pump the brakes just before applying the lock. I never had to do that on Et Streets, but it really helped with the slicks. Just thought I'd pass it on for anyone with similar problems.

All I do it push once hard on the brakes and hold them. Then I hit the momentary switch and release my foot off the brakes.

Then go do your BO.
Car shouldnt move

Fireball - yes

JS - that's what I normally do, but it didn't work yesterday. Pumping first worked great.

Dave....man I wish I could spin and still pull my wheels a foot off the ground! You had some AWESOME launches yesterday!

I pull through the water. Just to the edge of the water box, pump the brakes 1 time then push the button,(linelock) pump the brakes a couple more times then do the burnout. It holds from me every time.

Just my 2 cents.

i never have a problem at the track in the water box with just pushing the pedal down and hitting the line lock, but when i have to do dry burnouts on the street i have to pump the pedal again after the lock is on to get enough pressure to make it hold in place

Thanks, Ebbs. Several people said the wheels were up in the air. Kinda hard to tell in the car........
