Default Finally got my car weighed!

Colonel,
3085lbs with full fuel cell(8 gallons) and driver.....

Sure I can say 9's ,but can we do it? 10.1 was pretty close for a 150 shot. It might be worth wiring the nitrous switch to the transbrake just to see what happens.

How did you get that sucker so light? Running the stock hood or a heater box? Did you put in light weight carpet or just leave the carpet out?

No heater, no a/c, no carpet....my car is basically stripped, but still looking for more ways to lose weight.

Terry,
The hood is stock for a 98 SS. I beleive, that the SS hood is not metal, but either fiberglass or some kind of carbon fiber ...don't know for sure.
