New Best for Luckie Chuckie
New Best on the motor for me:
11.12 @124.87
First time out on the nitrous:
10.168 @132.95
1.48 60'
4.203 330'
6.49 1/8 mile @ 107.31
8.47 1000' @ 107.31
A little tweeking on the motor and the driver and maybe I can get into the nines with the stock bottom end still in place.

Congrats!! Another quick ARE HC setup <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I think you would set a record if you hit 9's with the stock shortblock?
Cheers,
Chris

Yeah.. that thing is fun to watch! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
BTW: That was in less than perfect conditions.. should be fun in "mine shaft" weather <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: New Best for Luckie Chuckie
I was just looking at your combo....
Strange 12-bolt w/3.73's; 28x15x10 Hoosier slicks
That is definitely a great nitrous setup but you would DEFINITELY have tens with a 26 inch slick and 4.11 gear.
Makes your NA time/mph even more impressive!
Cheers,
Chris

Re: New Best for Luckie Chuckie
JS you always bench race with your weight, so why not your intelligence too? If you were a smart guy I bet you'd be running 10.50s by now!! Take away 40 IQ points from Chuck and what do you think he'd run???

Let's not go off subject here...
So the raceweight is 3080? so removed like 500lbs from the car? Can you tell us what you removed?
I've been removing stuff and am looking for ideas.

A base Z-28 hardtop weighs 3380 pounds with full fluids.
with driver depending on weight around 3550 pounds.
500 pounds is a good bit of weight but nothing impossible.
Slicks and Skinnies, !AC, !EGR, !swaybar,
!Cruise, !AIR, !foglights, !Front Bumper Support, lightweight battery and lighter Tranny/converter, !interior is over 400 pounds right there.
Not too shabby....
JS who is getting carried away? there are serveral 2900-3100 pound raceweight cars running 10.80's and quicker. I am just saying with the right gear and tire he is very competitive with the quickest on LS1tech.com. With nitrous he is definitely one of the fastest.

Terry u can insult me if u like but why dont u at least acknowledge that the cars weight is LIGHT.I actually would like to know what was taken out to get that light?
For god sakes TERRYBLE no one bench races more than u.Bottem line Terryble,What would your car run at 3085? Would u quesstimate for me?
Terry the funny part is u knocked ALOT of people for building a race car and then went an did it yourself. And u call me stupid.Maybe u should take a look in the mirror.
Chris,Raugh is 3200lbs,George was 3250,Cmarsh was 3450,Janxter is 3250 I can go on if u like?The car is fast Chris but it's light,period.
