3 Channel into a 4 channel car, can it be done and how?
I currently have a 3 channel Strange rear. Does anyone know, or has anyone put a 3 channel rear into a 4 channel car. I don't care about ASR, so I would not mind not having it. I know the wiring is different in some way, but have no detials on it.
What am I looking at, and please give details.
Thank you,
Will

you can you need to get the axles swapped out with the ones that have the collar to press the reluctor rings on (or yours might already have the collars on them). then all you gotta do is take the wheel bearings off pull off the 3 chanel backing plates off, press the reluctor wheels on, put on the 4 channel backing plates on and press the bearing back on (not sure if you can reuse these bearings so better check). Then just onstall the sensors on each wheel and bolt it in to the 4 channel car. you can leave the sensor on top of the rear end on there so theres not a big hole up top, but it won't be pluged into anything.

SUX2BU, is there anyway to utilize the 3 channel abs sensor so the abs would work without setting up the 4 channel system. ie; put the 3 channel rear in, splice the abs into the 3 channel and just no use the ASR?
