Mike Hoffpauir

I went to No Problem Raceway tonight to try out some of the recent changes I'd done to my car.
These changes include: swapping out the 3.42's for 4.10's, higher shift points, and about an 80 pound reduction in raceweight.

The weather was pretty good for May in Louisiana: 861 DA, 70 degrees, 48% humidity.

I only made one full pass before they told me to go home, but luckily that was all I needed to be happy.

I'm so happy with this setup. I figure with a little more tuning and a -1300 DA (Thats nov-jan in Louisiana) I could possibly have a 10 second timeslip <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

My setup consists of:
2000 Z28 A4
Futral Motorsports F4 cam 226/226 575/575 114
Yank TP4400
4.10's
G-hann full lenghts into a Futral Motorsports 2.5" y-pipe and a bullet muffler.
Futral Motorsports custom tuning via ls1edit.
Lid, pulley, hardend pushrods, comp 26918 springs, slicks and skinnies, LS6 intake, and some pump gas <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Raceweight was somewhere around 3270-3280 with my 205 pound self in the car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!! 10's on a cam only is my goal too(check sig) but i'm WAAAAAy behind you cause i'm still running through the bolt ons. congrats mike, thats movin. When you gonna put a cage in it so you can run more. What did you do to drop the extra 80 lbs. Man, my car is a pig..heheheh..3070 lb car..I could only dream. Awesome man, I'm happy for ya.

Man--that is flying down the quarter for a CAM car. You have got to be very proud. It is nice to know that some people from Louisiana can run with the best of them.
