i knew that card had more in it, thats why i wasn't so impressed with the 9.5 cuz i new it had to have more and boy was i right

That car is wicked fast, however I wouldn't call a totally stripped out supra a street car. Marko's yes, Titan's well its like a stock eliminator...

Hey, how many people ripped on the Supra being stripped out on the other thread?!

Can somebody remind me of all the "Theft recovery" F-bodies that exist over here??

How many of the top car's times over here are done with ONE front seat, no rear seats, lack of airbags and/or front & rear bumper supports. . .no catback. . .

Colonel's weight is close to this Supra's weight. . .did everybody rip on the colonel's car!?

And you can name 4 more cars in the LS1 Tech's top 10 NA cars, that are "stripped" in a similar fashion to this Supra.

I have to agree with mgreen on this one. As bad as I hate it SUPRAS are WAY better cars than the f-bodies. This car is still using stock block and mostly stock internals. There are many totaly stock bottom end supras out there running low 10's. HELL a friend of mine that is set up for road racing runs 125mph in the 1/4 on a bad pass on radials, this is granny shifting and 2.2+ 60's still runs 11.7's. Nothing taken out of car. this is all bolt-ons. The bottom end of these cars must be bullitt proof.

to each his own but we cannot bash this Titan car...it is unreal.

eh. . .well, you're right, no one compared it directly to an fbod in this thread, I was a little overboard. . .and it was another thread that a couple guys mentioned it. . .

anyways, there are Fbodies that guys refer to as street cars w/ similar weight reduction. . . Supras are similar in weight to LS1 cars. . .

do not compare supras to f-body's. supras built for boost FROM FACTORY FOLKS. f-body's are not. both great machines.

I thought they blew the engine in the burnout box in the final round? If they did run an 8.90, they sure put her back together quick...
