Cam Newb
My car is mostly stock and im looking into a cam NO heads...and i have no idea what would best fit my driving style. So, here goes...as of now i run an 8.6 in my 01' M6 1/8th..Haven't had it to a 1/4 yet. I say i drive fairly hard but this is my everyday driver and I don't want somthing that sounds like a dragster. I enjoy being able to draw out each gear exspecially 1st and 2nd, and that's why i haven't installed 3:73's. Anyhow...like anyone i want a cam that will allow me to get out there in 1st to about 50mph with as much horsepower and tourqe gain as possible...Any ideas...please feel free to clue me in on anything thats sounds wrong ..i'm new at this..THX!

1.8's r the rockers, its the ratio, stock is 1.7... u don't need the extra ratio since the extra lift is built into the cam... stock cam specs r like 197/209-.480/.480-115

Might also look into our tsp 225 camshaft. Its what we prefer installing over our 224 camshafts. Here's a graph from a m6 car with bolt ons.
