I'm going with the TSP 231/237 cam package with the Patriot gold springs and titanium retainers. I believe Texas Speeds sells the Patriot springs in a package without the cam if you decide to go in a different direction with the cam.

I want some thing that you can tell there is a cam in the car but not as crazy as a GM hot cam.Don't forget Im an A4 and emission do need to be addressed. I can get my idle bump up to compensate.

I lack first hand knowledge of what it lopes like. But for what it gives in performance gain I'd hope it's not too sloppy. You need to look into the TR224, TSP224, 225 camshafts they will satisfy what you seem to be looking for. Definitely want to get a dual spring for it.

My cam is on a 112LSA and idles pretty good for an a4. 112 equal more useable power. 114 equal better idleing manners.
Most vendors ------> have a 224 cam it really all boils down to where ya want to drop your $ There will not be much difference in outcome.
