Deffinately change your valve springs. Everyone has been recommending the Patriot Gold springs and speaks very highly of them.

I'm going with the TSP 231/237 cam package with the Patriot gold springs and titanium retainers. I believe Texas Speeds sells the Patriot springs in a package without the cam if you decide to go in a different direction with the cam.

I guess it depends on your overall goal. If you want something streetable, somewhat tame, with minimal lope but decent power, go with the 224 varients. If you want something to make a bit more power try the 228 to 230 cams out there. If you are going extreme, the T-Rex or the G5X cams would be a good choice. The bigger you go the less streetable the car will be.

Give us a better idea of your goals so we can help you better.

You'll need to change stalls to take full advantage of the x3 cam. Unless your spraying it. 224 good duration cam for that stall.

I lack first hand knowledge of what it lopes like. But for what it gives in performance gain I'd hope it's not too sloppy. You need to look into the TR224, TSP224, 225 camshafts they will satisfy what you seem to be looking for. Definitely want to get a dual spring for it.

Nope sorry I don't.

4-228R TSP Custom 228R Cam: 228/228, .588"/.588", 112 LSA $399.99

4-224112 TSP Custom 224 Cam: 224/224, .566"/.566", 112 LSA $399.99

4-220114 TSP Custom 220 Cam: 220/220, .564"/.564", 114 LSA $360.00

4-220112 TSP Custom 220 Cam: 220/220, .564"/.564", 112 LSA $399.99

4-224114R TSP Custom 224R Cam: 224/224, .581"/.581", 114 LSA $399.99

4-224112R TSP Custom 224R Cam: 224/224, .581"/.581", 112 LSA $399.99

4-224114 TSP Custom 224 Cam: 224/224, .566"/.566", 114 LSA $399.99

25-225225 TSP Custom 225/225 Cam: 225/225, .589"/.589", 112 LSA $360.00

My cam is on a 112LSA and idles pretty good for an a4. 112 equal more useable power. 114 equal better idleing manners.

Most vendors ------> have a 224 cam it really all boils down to where ya want to drop your $ There will not be much difference in outcome.
