Kook's VS macs what will i gain???
due to unhappy dyno #'s i'm thinking of getting kook's or another top brand of longtube headers. What will i gain? and has anyone done a back to back swap with dyno #'s

You would probably gain some low and at the midrange. Macs work pretty well up top. I have not been able to justify the cost of replacing mine. I bought them before the Hookers, Jet Hots, and some of the other reasonably priced headers came out. If I were to replace them it would be with Kooks or QTP's.

I say you keep the MAC headers and try to work with them. Mid length headers aren't too common and they will keep your car more unique. With all the mods you have, i'm sure there's some change you can make in order to compensate for some of the lost power.

Any pics of the ypipe? Do you think the weakness of the macs is the ypipe and not the midlength primary tubes? Also, how does it sound with the 3" ypipe compared to long tubes?
