Results from NPR
Here's the results from NPR tonight.
There's good news and bad news.
The first run was 10.91 @ 126.66 mph 1.555 60' (thats the good news)
Launched at 6200 rpm and spun, only ran 1st gear out to 6500 rpm <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
then 2nd-4th out to 7500 rpm.
Temp 90* 65% hum, 29.83 bar, 12' elev = DA 2485'. 3400lbs raceweight(est) 15 psi 28" ET Drags.
Second run the left lane didn't hook as well as the right lane.
Launched at 6000 rpm, spinning 1.660 60' 11.02 @ 126.39 mph
DA= 2411'
Third run left lane again, lowered the psi in the ET Drags to 14 launched at 5800 rpm. spinning 1.530 60' then promptly missed third gear messing that run up.
ET was 11.69 @ 117.63 mph
DA= 2082'
Forth run,
Right lane, launched at 5800 rpm, spinning 1.534 60', hit all the shifts, then just past the 1000' mark the low oil pressure warning light came on so I let off. 11.06 @ 122.49 mph. DA= 2082' On the return road the oil pressure was less then 10 psi.(the bad news)
Loaded the car on the trailer after that.
Allan is taking care of me to get the problem solved.

Re: Results from NPR
Nice runs Gordon.
I hope the oil pressure was nothing serious.
I'm suprised to read you were not hooking. How many runs do you have on your tires? Could they be kaput?
Also, with what you ran last night do you expect 129 mph in a couple of months? I know I atleast expect that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Results from NPR
Thanks everybody...
Mike,
Yep... in the "good weather" 129 mph should be no problem.
Come to find out, if you want to cut good 60's at NPR now, don't go on a Wed night T&T.
They don't prep the track anymore for that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
Only Fridays and Saturdays get the prep now.

Gordo...great times man for the first time out with the new combo. Sucks about your oil pressure but thats part of going fast..just have to work out the little problems.
Oh..thanks for missing that gear when we raced so it didn't look too bad <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
