When TH400's blow up... (Pic)
Here's a pic of my tranny tunnel after my TH400 exploded:
The cause of this was dyno operator backshifting during a dyno run (reverse throttle body)

I'm not that familiar with the inner-workings of TH400's.. but the guy at the tranny manufacturer said it was the drum and some other stuff- which went in several directions. Some of the schrapnel came to rest inside my gloveblox.. another piece went out the back of the car, bending up my license plate and gouging the cement wall.
