Congrats Sean!

I didn't even recognize your car at the track because of that cowl hood.

I went 11.02@122.6mph on a 1.50 and 3490-3500 raceweight. My friend drove on one pass and got a 1.49 but the car has a shifting issue.

I don't want to hijack Sean's thread but yeah I did run with the new converter short times were in the 1.49-1.50 range with traction but the overall runs were just okay not great.
11.02 122.62mph
11.23 122.69mph revised shifts but hit 1-2 rev way bad

Sean can you make me a battery holdown or tell me where you got the materials?

PSJ-the hold down was pretty easy.
I got an aluminium(I think it was 1/8")strip from Ace hardware.
I think it was 3 or 4 feet long,I got extra in case I screwed up.
Measured it(the battery) bent it on a bench vice.
Drilled a hole in the front and secured it.(used the original hold down in back)
I also used small weather stripping between the strap and the battery,
and the battery and the tray.

Sean, you are definately the man!

Have you done !ABS or !AIR Bags yet? Those and carpet are pretty much the only free light weight mods I haven't done yet.

FWIW Bob, SVT Camr aka Brian Russo went like 11.7@114 in his car, if you know him. Stock longblock, car is not too light. He was at our rental too.
