Default Fastest Street Vette Shootout Results!~!!

First of all thanks to everyone who made this event possible, it was a blast!! I finished 2nd in the all out quick 8 class. The Speedworks car beat me to the line by .0063!!! Thats insane!! Here's the slip
rt .5045 .5344
60 1.6509 1.5784
1/8 6.7867 6.7367
mph 103.35 104.67

1/4 10.5088 10.4726
mph 137.78 134.85

winner by .0063 Right Lane

That was a crazy race! I will post the video hopefully today, I definately spun pretty good in the final, and I think that pretty much cost me any chance of catching up because the Speedworks car was really moving!! Congrats to all thos guys on the win!

Good run, Jason. Yeah, I saw the one wheel burnout before staging. You would have caught him if it didn't dance around on the 1-2 shift as well. Just imagine what your car will do in cooler weather!

Jason pritty much had the win in the bag. but the bad burn out killed him. he cut a nice tree too. the spin in the 1-2 shift cost him the race .0063 .. tell you what he was moving!!!! way too go. Jason good job...

I beleve that makes Jason the fastes H/C vett in the 10s.

McLeod Twin-Disc and adj. master, I wonder why we're the only ones that can make it work right

I am all about that jetting up idea! We haven't run out of fuel yet...

Actually the only problems we've ever had was with the McLeod slave cylinder when they were still selling it. The clutch setup has been flawless in operation. I believe the people that do have any kind of clutch problems are not bleeding their setup properly and thats what gives clutch manufacturers a bad name.

I know when I was still turning wrenches at the dealership, those aftermarket warranties would try to only use junkyard parts. Esp if it was something big like a motor or tranny. We would install a junkyard motor and have it smoke a little (burning oil) and they would tell us it ran and it was there problem if it didn't last until the warranty was up. We had many upset customers because of those guys.

GMPP would typically handle it just like factory warranty with GM parts. I have heard that they have started changing on a few things, but haven't experienced it myself yet. Perhaps someone who deals with GMPP currently can chime in.
