Default tuning problems?

Can anyone help me out?? I have GTP stage 3 heads not a huge cam but car is a stone at the track.Long tube headers,3000 stall,4.10 gears.Best run 11.89 at 116 mph. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

need more specifics to help you.

what cam?
what size valves?
what compression ratio?
which 3000 stall?
what tires?
what's your raceweight?
what was the weather like? temp, humidity, & baro
what altitude do you race at?
What's your 60'? 1/8et? 1/8mph?

Yank con. 226/226 11:1 comp 2.055 1.575 I think.It was pretty humid and I don't remember the 1/8.Car is 3450 1.51 60 foot on slicks.no idea on alt.

Sounds like you were in some bad weather.

I'd have to say your numbers look about average to me. Not stellar, no sub-par. Now it's time for you to start fine-tuning the combo and wringing everything out of it that you can...

You'd probably be surprised at how much more you can find once you get everything "dialed-in."
