Default ARE 98 Z-28 1.37 sixty with the BACK TIRES

This run had to be aborted for obvious reasons but you can see what happens with they get the nitrous working off the line <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
1.37 with the BACK tires tripping the beams!
Car should go 8.80s-8.90s tomorrow with the suspension adjustments <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Cheers,
Chris

Pretty violent, but it didn't appear to get the front up that high. It really looks like the right rear suspension was just too soft and the car squatted way too much. That video of Mikey's car was an all-out wheelstand, lol

Does that car have wheel tubs, or is it just a custom narrowed rearend? I like the wheel offset in the back.

umm in the video the right front tire is over 2 feet in the air with the suspension at full droop LOL <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> The left front tire was about 3 feet in the air. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Not a Mikey wheelstand but not too shabby all the same, dont forget he let out of it too heheh <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

The rear is narrowed slightly and the rims are 15x10 I believe. not sure on the backspacing on the rims.
Cheers,
Chris

That car sounds really good. What kind off mufflers are on it. Sounds almost like a Spintech.

Have you guys seen this wheelstand? It's a 95 LT1 car .

yes it does Steve. It has mufflers on the collectors <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

If that car was open headers it would be WAY louder. Besides I saw them for myself when it was on the lift and again today at the track. Very clean sounding with that setup.
Cheers,
Chris

I stand corrected.

By the way, you can see my car in that video. It's the black SS that's next in line, but Wade's tiresmoke obliterates it in short order.

That's Stu, one of ARE's mechanics, standing on the right (blue sweater, black cap).

And that's my car that Wade is running against.

I won't even say how I ran. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> It was not good to say the least. Maybe next timewe line up together. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Damn <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Couldn't help but notice the little white streaks on the ground under the bumper-------perhaps he should invest in wheelie bars also! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

There from a car that had wheelie bars and the chalk you apply to them to see when the wheelie bars hit..how long its on the wheelie bars..etc..

Congrats Wade. Ive been a 8.09 @ 169 in a full tube chassis 4 link car. Can just imagin what a 8.90 feels like in a stock style suspension car.

Wheelie Wade? Nah Never ! Hehe

Wade has run in faster cars and has bumper wheelied several times in some of the cars he's built, Pro 5.0, S/S, P/S, Ez/S etc. Hell even 9sec snomobiles! <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
