Man, that thing is wild!! c5r heads and custom intake?? Sounds almost as though it has a 180 degree headers or crank.. <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

Is it the exhaust design that makes it sound the way it does?

I suppose if you were to put a supertrapp on a dragster, it might sound like this car. Just a guess.

wow, ok.. just assumed I guess(since it was a c5 derivative). SBC sure opens up head options... 12, 15, 18, 23 degree heads, sb2 heads, and road race heads.. that's some incredible cylinder filling to get 616 hp from 358 cubes under 8k rpm... stout regardless of it's genetics...

The TQ curve on that thing is phenominal.

Over 450rwtq for a range of over 2000 RPM. Beautiful thing is LG is almost giving us close to this type of TQ on probably much less compression on 346 cubic inches.

Over 350rwtq down in the low 3000's all the way up
to 8000.

Was this vehicle carbed?

Sounds like a Trans Am SB2 SBC, I hope with 400cfm heads you can do that. Love that sound!
