Default Why should I buy a Predator? What can I do?

I'm curious, what are the benefits of a Predator EXACTLY. I've got a pretty good idea, but I want to know. Especially I want to know what can I change personally without getting a tune from the company themselves.

If you are interested in the predator, you might wanna look into hptuners. It has much, much more to offer with complete control of your pcm. I'm not sure what the predator costs, but the hptuner is only 500. It's worth the extra imo.

Don't you also need a laptop for HP Tuners?

I bought the Pred about 6 months ago. It works great for me. I don't have a wild cam or anything. First I put in the tune it came with. I live in California with the 91 octane so the timing was too advanced. You can change timing and air/fuel so over time with small adjustments I've got it dialed in. Changed timing, fuel, shifting (A4), and fan temps (160 therm). I think doing it yourself is better than having someone send you what they think is a good tune for your car. What a change! More power better milage, it's like a new car. And you can use Pred while your driving and watch all your sensors. Throttle position, coolant temp, oxygen sensors, everything. Well, I like it. It works for me.

I got one recently and you cant change that much yourself but you can have James @ Runnin With The Devil write a custom tune for your car with your mods. There is a small charge of $100.00 and its unlimited so you can have a new tune written everytime you perform a new mod to your car and it won't cost you anything. I should get my tune any day now, I have freinds who have done this and had very good results. BTW the Predator costs $417.00 (I think, got mine for free )

With it you won't need those $100 O2 sims or $50 extensions or a $100 speedo recalibrater or a ??? fan switch, just estimates on those prices, mine was $375.

I had someone PM me and tell me their Diablo pulled out quite a bit of the TM and his converter runs better now.
