Default I FINALLY got my 19" HP lightnings.

Well, they finally got here after a long long wait.

I have lots of pics but they are all pretty large (>2.5 megs) since I took them with the wifes 6.4mp Cannon. I can scale em down to less than 1 meg each and email someone who can possibly host em. I'd love to have them in the post for everyone to check out.

Thanks....
Here's a quick pic that I resized down to get less than the 100kb limit so the quality isn't that great.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I drove my car into work today and parked it in the first spot right by my window and keep looking at it and love it more and more.

Hey, the first step is actually taking your eyes off the wheels to get into the car and go to work I think I would invest in some appropriately positioned mail truck mirrors so that you may watch each wheel as you drive

Brien That looks sick....I love the look of those 19's.
That wheel just looks like it belongs on a Pewter car buddy.

If your going up to 413 on Sat night for the cruise I'll see the car.
WOW,Is it beautiful....

Those wheels look sweet. I was $100 away from buying those same wheels from Matt4WS6 back when he was selling them.

Hey guys.... I have gotten a couple PMs asking how much and where did I get them from. I found a guy on Ebay that was selling them, but wouldn't recommend going through him because of the run around I got.

He originally listed 18x8s for sale but according to HP's website, they are available in an 18x9, so I emailed the seller and asked if he could get them. He said yes and that he had them in stock and I got a price.

Two weeks later, I found out that he was only a retailer and was working through WheelGuyz as a supplier. Well, after going back and forth for almost 8 weeks, I decided to say screw it, send back the 275/35/18s tires I already had, order new tires, and then order the new rims. It was such a hassle and headache that I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing.

I got so many different stories from Wheelguyz and from the guy I bought the rims from and was so frustrating.
The guys at HP weren't helpful either. One guy told me the 18x9s weren't popular and would be discontinued, and a half hour later I get an email saying the 18x9s were SOO popular that they had so many backorders that every shipment they got went to fill the backordered orders.

My best suggestion. Call HP and ask for a local retailer in your area and then ask them to physically check if they are in stock or else you will get a run around.

I like those rims!!!
Hmmmm...I wish SLP, would've put better rims on the Firehawk conversions!
Those rims seem like they only belong on a Fbody!

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Driving around last night I got more looks in the car than I ever did before and I hadn't even polished them yet. That will happen this morning.

Better 'blingin' pics will be coming.... hmmm, maybe I can convince the wife to put on her bikini and a set of heels.... hmmm, ok, probably won't but would be nice.

Any close up shots of them? What finish are they? When you say "polish", do you literally mean polish or just clean up real nice"?

They look outstanding. They look great on pewter, I wonder how they would look on black...
