Default New Dyno Numbers

Just got my car back from Norris.405rwhp. NLP/CNC stage 2 heads, Comp cam 226/230/113XE, Kooks headers with catted y,Vig 3200 converter, 3.73 gears, 160 thermostat, underdrive pulley. Man it sounds much meaner.

what was your numbers before the heads and cam? did you do all these mods at the same time? or was it just heads and cam this trip?

Was the first time my car had ever been dynoed. All the mods were done at the same time by Norris Motorsports.

Hey All,

Thanks for the kind words Mike. The 380 was untuned out of the box after adding all the mods. I did not get a chance to do a pre-dyno. On the 405 run I did attempt to lock the converter, but still had 300-350RPM slip and accounted that in the Vig not being broken in yet and maybe another 10HP there. A neat little car considering it was run through cats.

Later,

Mike

Nice numbers. I wish more people had CnC heads on this board so we could see how good they are in comparision to other top porters.

Someone suggested them to me when I was looking for heads but I wanted to use a company that had more feedback so I could choose from who I felt was the best based on results not word of mouth.
Looks like your results are damn impressive with the cam you have being a stall A4 and congs on that. Have fun with her.
If you can dead hook on a good tire expect some low to mid 11's with that setup and 120+MPH.
