Default installing 12 bolt into f body?

I am looking to buyig either a moser 12 bolt or moser 9in, my question is can i just bolt up the new rear end or do i have to have certain aftermarket suspension to make it work? (ie. sway bar, relocation blackeds, lca's,tq arm, drive shaft) I would like to get the new rear end and later do the suspension pieces.

I have a 12 bolt with stock suspension parts. You'll have to get a couple of things like 3" exhaust clamps, a new U-joint, and some zip ties to zip your brake lines down to the axle tube. You'll also need a little 3/8" fuel line for the vent tube. Pretty straight forward install with a buddy or two to spot you.

I agree but you have all stock suspension??? Now my car is lowered about a 1 1/2" but I needed a adjustable PHB to get the axle centered. I also have adjustable LCA's with relocation brackets but I don't think they are needed.

IIRC, you only need the u-joint if you opt for the heavy duty yoke, 1350 I think (unless they have made that standard since I got mine). You should be able to search for some combinarion of moser, 1350, u-joint, etc, here and find the part number for the u-joint you need.

alll you will really need is the swasy bar mounting kit, a new ujoint and small everday stuf, zipties, some hose ect nothing big, granted i dont have stock suspension any more but still would have worked if i did, remember not much if any of the suspension stuff is rear axle specific either

I've installed one on a car with adjustable LCA's, Spohn adjustable torque arm, BMR adj. PHB and lowered with a Pro Kit, as well as a bone stock suspension 98 Trans Am. And you only need the new U joint if you get the 1350.
