Default Dyno'd the 99 Corvette FRC today :)

I decided to add the new Halltech Stinger Air Intake System and she put down 331.5rwhp/346.3rwtq on the second pull. The only other mod on the car is Borla Stingers. The #'s seem kind of high to me so I checked to see if I had an ls6 intake and the #'s I pulled off the intake were 12556333. I cant seem to find those #'s on GM parts anywhere.

Damn those are pretty good numbers for a basically stock vette. Seems like you ended up with another factory freak man. Congrats.

Great numbers! If you have EGR then its the LS1 intake. One question is if this is corrected numbers or not. SAE numbers tend to lower actual numbers here in the NW 10-20hp.

These are SAE #'s and the early C5's did not come with EGR.

I think Vince might have found the only dyno in Florida that doesn't suck for #'s! Strong car buddy, but the 408 is gonna be sick in a 3100 lb ride!

Now that I think about it I can't recall ever seeing the standard EGR system like on the Fbody on the C5. Wonder what the difference is between your manifold and the LS6 if anything?????? Regardless, those are some awesome numbers!

Is that using their Dynojet conversion software since Coastal is a Mustang dyno?

Dyno #s and time slips sometimes do not jive. It is weird. I dynoed at 329 HP and 321 TQ and run 12.6@113MPH with 19"s Continental street tires with a 1.95 60ft. I truly think different dynos give different numbers but I dont know enough about the inner workings of the dyno to be sure.

I totally agree. What is weird is cars that dyno'd more than me on the dyno and was faster at the track could not beat me on the street. I use to watch guys run mid 11's all day at the track, but when they hit the highway I would walk away from them past 110mph. All I had was the T1 cam, Mac Headers, and mail order tuning. Put down 390rwhp/381rwtq almost 3 years ago. The funny part is I could still wax azz locally with that old setup. The dyno is only a tool to gauge YOUR upgrades. Comparing them to others will drive you crazy.

geez, i dyno'd a whopping 330 rwhp and have gone 12.2@112.5 on bfg drag radials. I think my 4.10 gears are skewing my dyno #s some though
