I just installed my longtubes and drove it down to my buddies shop and had the custom Y put on without cats... but now my Oil pressure is lower as well as the temp being higher.. both can obviously conflict each other (High temp = low oil pressure with thin oil (5w30 M1).) Anywho, I'm just wondering, is this normal? Or should I get a new T-stat? 180? It's running at just over 210.. with according to the stock gauge. Any insight would be much appreciated though!

Never heard of that. Only thing I noticed was idle was a little lower than stock.

idle is fine at around 600 out of gear and 500 in gear...

600, and 500!? is that just me or is that really low? mine idles at 1k...

In park you'll be around 950 I think. But in gear between 450-550 is about where it should idle.

Temp was fine tonite... drove it around a bit, romped on it. Sounds soooooo damn loud, I'm almost afraid to drive it at night since I have no front plates, cops pull me over just for fun.

The only way I could see headers making the temp raise is if the headers wernt coated or the headers actually made the car run lean and not rich, which I doubt.

I got a 6 speed. Idles 1k neutral, Headers brought it down to 900 or so.
