Default Cam & Heads advice! help!

Im about to have the following heads and cam installed. 1.West Coast Cyl Heads ls1 casting #241 Stage 1 + Ported & lite bowl polished Installed 2.02/1.57 rev valves,New cc-918 springs and new cc-772 titanium rets. 5 angle valve job MILLED .030 Chambers 62cc compression est 10.9:1 or 10.8:1 Ordered a custom comp cam grind #54-000-11 228/228 .588/.588 114+2 The guy doing the install is the best and have done this set-up many times ,My ls1edit tuner chris r. has this set-up on one of his many cars. Ive been worried about the p/v issues. But they say everything will be fine. The only thing left to order is gasket and head bolts AND head gaskets. Im thinking about just ordering cometic thicker head gaskets maybe .078? or the 03-mls .060 gm gaskets. I just need a little advise on the p/v issue so i can quit worrying about the install. any Advise? p.s. ill be order cc-high tech pushrods soon 7.350 or 7.375 or? thanks for your help jerry 2000 Nhra ta 6-spd all bolt-ons

Just make sure your installer dot's his "I's" and crosses his "t's". If they've done the same setup before, it shouldn't be a problem.

Hi we have a special on for the AFR 205 heads and our G5 X-3 cam. We use the Comp 921 springs with the AFR heads and mill them for the correct compression. That package is $2995 for the complete heads, G5x series cam and pushrods.

We can install it and tune it for you also.

This will get you over 440, and probably over 450rwhp.

Thanks and give us a call
