G5x3& heads???
Today i keep out the heads of an spare motor that i plans to build,to send them to my shop and make some nice porting job.Now my question is directed to the g5x3 users.How much is the risk of hit a piston to valve if i use 2.02 and 1.60 with the g5x3 with 114?I really like that cam but i'm so worry about that issue!!

Is because i not want to deal on take the motor out of the car do flycut the pistons.I think instead of doin that it worth buy a set of pistons.

Fly cutting the pistons with them in the block is just weird…
Few reasons not to fly cut.
Unless you have the tools to clean up the edges evenly and well, with N20 it could cause detonation. And if you cut and clean too much, you lose compression and weaken the piston some.
Also, there is a chance of getting the pistons out of balance, though not much, still more than I’d like to do.
ICON, do you mean .600 or .006? Because .6 is plenty of PTV for me…
I talked to your friend about that cam and he called you, but you sold it to someone else. I was considering replacing my pistons at the time, but I’m not now because I’m probably going to start building a 427 for some ‘real’ power.
